We maybe moving well into Autumn but that hasn't stopped big tench from feeding.
Bob Gibbs, HAHAS Chairman, was holding a tutoring session for young angler David at the weekend and hooked into this beatifully conditioned and impressively sized tench. A welcome surprise to all the roach and gudgeon the two anglers were catching. Fish like this are not uncommon and illustrate the rich potential of the Hampstead ponds.
