Hampstead No.2 Pond

Square in shape with access from South End Green or South Hill Park Gardens, NW3. Fishing is on the south bank with a few swims on the north side. East side is residential, and the west bank is very steep and heavily eroded by dogs. Depths up to 3.5m. All the usual species but a big favourite in the winter is the pursuit of pike, which can get to 20lb. Please note that spinning is not allowed, nor barbed hooks - this applies on all Heath ponds.
